Miles Keller: Transplant to Savannah!

Our buddy Miles Keller is moving to Savannah for a while... He, Donny Macrae, and Weson the chubacabra have been down there for a while now on what much be like the umpteenth trip this year... Needless to say, our crew is cross-pollinating the stoke. Here's a clipper from this week:

Sean Gibson: Road Warrior

Sean spent well over a week in the trenches, in the van, on the road with us on the last SAV trip. Through injury and insult, he KILLED IT every moment he was on board. He was the guy who had to take $10 to the Piggly Wiggly next to the Starbucks and turn it into the day's meals. Every day. Ramen, Corned Beef Hash, Black Beans, Rice packets... every day. And when he wasn't keeping us fed properly, he was filming, and facebooking what was was going on. Sean epitomized Road Warrior Life.

This is how we come back from a trip...

We got home at 5am... first thing this day, we hit the wall... Quite literally. We poured this one in cold weather, so we'll have to tear it out some day... All good practice. No kidding. This is how we stay sharp!

Bones Brigade Movie: MidWest Premiere this coming SATURDAY in Indianapolis! NOON.

Okay, I was stunned over here at the WorkShop when Bart at WhatLuck Skateboards calls me up and says, "Hey, we got the Bones Brigade Movie in Indianapolis, and YOU'RE hosting it with us!" Well, first off, I figured that the whole thing was probably already "MidWest Handled" Turns out, it wasn't. As far as we know, the nearest showing is in North Carolina. Now I've been known to be wrong, and I've ended up on the wrong end of my own mouth before, as well... but this here is really silly... and SWEET! and there's no wrong end of a day of skating with the brotherhood (and sisterhood). This means that all of us are coming together for a GREAT BIG SKATE DAY in Indianapolis. Meetup for Cinci Departure at 9AM from the Northside Parking Lot at Hamilton and Chase! and hey, any shops that want to get in on this, just load yourselves in your vehicles and come kill it at the parks and make it a great time! there's much love in the house! and everybody, this here's why we call Bart at whatluck, "Bart the Heart."

In Savannah, at Woody's, they film. Our very own Boe Parries is their very own Boe Parries. He is the king of the Daily Grind video series... Weston was down there a little while back and his DG is worth a peep.
Props to Woody's for being a park/Shop that truly serves and supports the skateboarding community. Props to Weston for not taking himself too seriously and keeping it all love all day.

but bob does remember the sting of weston's board.  almost got hisself killt.
