Atomium Footy2

From Belgium: The Atomium

Odds are you've never heard of the Atomium, but its an amazing place. We went up in this thing and it's like wow.

Softies

Presently, Fickle is your basic very very small skateboard wood company. We choose our wood very very carefully. We deliberate over shape and wheelbase. We agonize over concave. The graphics are children of Kevin's brain.

So you won't find us doing much work on soft goods like tee shirts and hats and stuff like that.

However, we have discovered a cheap way to get that stuff done for you. Some of our new friends in Georgia and Tennessee have had the "custom on-site" experience.

Here's an example of what spray paint, sponges and stencils can get done.

March Mission: Route 75

Well, we did it. Hit the Road for Five days, added 6 new shop contacts, sold a ton of boards, made a LOT of FRIENDS.

That last thing is the best part.
Thanks to BrownDog Brian Martin for a warm welcome in Dacula.
Thanks to Brian at RUIN for honest perspectives and an open mind. We look forward to skating with your crew on our next visit.
Dudebro over at Pluto--your views refreshed us. We'll be back to stoke your locals and skate with your crew. Fickle is down.
Chattown was a bust. you local rippers had it right to skate the ledge outside...
Reid at Void in Lex: looking forward to the near and far future...
Loki Skateshop: We're on our way down to stoke lokes... stretch out and get ready...

...no love at stratosphere for bottom feeders--no hate here for that... we all gotta come up, right? we couldn't get a conversation on, there... that's a no-hobo-zone.

We just want to thank all of those who welcomed us. We look forward to dropping by you on the regs for the next few years. please arrange sofas for us.

shout outs to KOA for keeping kabins so kool...

We'll be at the Ridge contest, so catch us there. Our crew is Lew (the old fool), Matt Simpson (slightly younger old fool), Ben With The Orange Hat (who doesn't wear that hat anymore), and any of Lew's sons who are chillin with us.

Special props to Aaron R for amazing improvement in technicals, and a sterling approach to people (except for hitting that one little kid on purpose)(and thanks for clearing that kid)

Giving Beard: Poppin!!!

Black Dip with GREEEN greens... You'll forgive me if i can't help but grin at such rad, all-american, midwest regional allthe way WOOD!

Fickle is dedicated to being a vehicle for American Wood, From our region. Highest possible quality. Shortest Shipping distances!
I pick this stuff up myself in the van! I go and talk to Joe-the big cheese up there at Pennswood- and I personally check each shipment. Every board gets the evil eye. The only wood you can buy today that is 100 percent guaranteed All-American, short shipping, uber quality, personally checked is from... NOBODY! Everyone's got the China and mexican wood mixed in with their business... Well, for LESS money you get MORE Quality! Fickle is just plain a no-brainer... unless you're too gangster or too core... but what's more core than local/regional/all-american? What's more core than getting quality wood out there for cheaper, working through skater-run shops? That's how we're doing it.
Quality and standards you just won't find at the mall... at prices you can't beat... tell you mom.

Benner

I know I tried to get you up to snuff on Ben earlier, but trips to Germany and Belgium and all over the place, plus the rush of life and all the trips to get boards from Titan/Pennswood and all that have kept me too busy to post updates... Suffice it to say, Ben is one of ours... Picture says a thousand on this guy...

check out those Ace trucks. Indys just don't do like that, bro. The only thing that cold make us lamer is if you found out how much starbucks we drink... a lot of starbucks. what are we gonna do when starbucks goes belly up?

this coffee is from Java Jo down in Dry Ridge, where Ben's favorite drink is Cappuccino... he loves them cappies.

Ben also loves to break his fingers skateboarding. we'll wrap those up tight for our March Mission...

March Mission: Atlanta

Fickle's on a mission this march 20 through 23! We're heading down to Atlanta to camp out and explore skate terrain in the city. Hopefully it doesn't rain and the dog doesn't get skunked.

The Ridge is STOCKED!

Many Thanks to Roy at The Ridge for his recent stocking of our boards. Fickle is knee-deep on his wall. Get down there and snap them up before these models get phased!

Super deep concave and killer elliptical kick will have you doing blunt kickflip 360's just like that, son.
