The Wood

Lookey here... the thing about a board company is that it... sells boards. Here's the deal with that: our boards cost money because they're worth money. THEY (the boards) ARE WORTH MONEY.

here's what we're getting at:
You may want to drop $50 or $60 on a board that has a picture on it that was chosen to be the picture that represents a skater you really like. Cool. We're cool with that. Pick that board and drop that cash and crush that thing in the real.

...and that board may or may not last you the month or the week or whatever your timeframe is, depending on your style. Picking your board is like that. Your board may or may not come from China or Mexico, or some shop that punks its wood together with elmers or leaves its veneers in the parking lot since it got bought by Dorfman...

And thats okay.

...you may want to drop $50 to $60 on wood that is flat, or narrow, or whatever... that's fine. Our wood is what it is: kicked and caved. our tails are elliptical and grip positively. Our concave is deep. Our wheelbases take into account YOUR HEIGHT.

So our wood isn't for everybody (although we'd like you to give it a try. Nobody's hatin' it) maybe, but it lasts better, and holds shape better, and we stand behind it with a local guarantee...

We are constantly looking into who can provide our company with good wood... We're proud to put Pennswood on the market under our brand, because Joe and the G's up there on the bleeding edge of Penna are making wood that is beyond the industry standard. I toured the shop myself. I asked the questions. Dude walked me through and I liked what I saw. goood shop. goood wood.

Ask Matt Simpson how he likes what he's stomping. He's crushin on our wood and digs the kick and cave of it...

So when we sell our wood to you for $40, or you buy it in a shop for $40 to $50...
...when we decline to play desperate and flow you a board because you feel like you're down and own the place because you skate better than so-and-so...
...remember that you get what you pay for, and heads are puttin in serious effort on this stuff...

FickleBoards--scrounging you up the best crushin.
