Pricing

You are going to hear this a lot from me:

our boards are worth something.

You can find them down at Bob's for 56
You can scrounge them at the Galaxie for in the 40's.
You can get them from me outta my car in some circumstances, with all due respect to core shop needs...

But they're going to cost you in the 40's. Period.

You get a Fickle Board for less than $40, you're lucky, because this wood is solid like old Santa Cruz.
So no whining and pony up, son. period.
cos it is worth every dime.

These'll take twice the abuse and keep pop, compared to the cheap california, china, and mexican woods that are out (with respect to rodney and dwindle who are innovating quality wood--for $70 a piece).

On all counts, you're gonna like fickle. Even if you feel slimed by association with people who feel free to get on this train without shutting you down.

  1. for the record, it's over a year later now, and we've held the line on this. people recently accused us of selling boards in parks for $20. ridiculous. our boards are $30 to shops (deals available) and $40 face to face when there aren't supportive shops around.

we charge $10 shipping in addition to that for shipped orders, even losing money in the process to ship to Seattle (Hey Andre).

So enjoy your Fickle Boards and keep track of us. We're going somewhere.

And don't pick on the companies that are out there hustling boards for $20 a pop in the parks. Just know this, "You get what you pay for."
